Supporting Our Community This Holiday Season

As the holiday spirit begins to fill the air, we are reminded that this is the time for giving back to our communities. As part of our annual holiday donation drive, the Toray Advanced Composites group is excited to announce our ongoing support for those in need during the holiday season.

  

Morgan Hill, CA and Englewood, CO: Angel Flight West, Morgan Hill Community Solutions, and The Edward Boss Prado Toy Drive

For more than 40 years, Angel Flight West has partnered with Alaska Airlines to provide critical air travel for people facing significant life challenges, connecting them to essential healthcare and support services. Just this year, Angel Flight West has coordinated over 4,000 flights with the help of 1,800 volunteer pilots, easing burdens and offering hope to those in need. This holiday season, our company is honored to support its mission with a meaningful contribution to help continue these invaluable services. As part of the aerospace community, it’s our privilege to support the work of those who use aviation to bring comfort, health, and hope to so many. We’re grateful for the chance to give back this holiday season, standing alongside Angel Flight West to make a real difference for people facing extraordinary challenges.

For Thanksgiving, we partnered with Morgan Hill Community Solutions – a vital organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families through support, counseling, and advocacy – for our annual Food Drive and to gather Feast Boxes, helping provide meals to those in need in our local community. In addition, we’re thrilled to continue our tradition of giving by hosting a toy drive to bring joy to local families. All donations collected will be contributed to The Edward Boss Prado Foundation, a wonderful organization that partners with local businesses to gather new toys for children across South Santa Clara County. Through their efforts, these gifts reach numerous groups in the community, including families in the Morgan Hill Unified School District, spreading cheer where it’s needed most.

Our team is honored to play a part in this meaningful initiative each year, along with other community programs. It’s truly a privilege to help make the holidays brighter for children and families in our area.

Fairfield, CA:Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and Solano County Community Partners

The Fairfield office proudly donates to the  Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano every year, recognizing its significant role as the largest domestic hunger relief organization in the nation. Partnering with a network of 200 nonprofits, the Food Bank is dedicated to fighting hunger by providing meals to our neighbors seven days a week. Last year, its efforts reached an average of 400,000 people every month.

In addition to supporting the Food Bank, the Fairfield office has been spreading holiday cheer by collecting toys this Christmas through Solano County Community Partners' 'Toys for Tots' donation program. This long-standing partnership continues to be a meaningful way to give back, and the team is honored to participate again this year. All the donated toys will bring joy to children in the local community.

This holiday season, we are truly honored to support their ongoing mission and contribute to their efforts to bring joy and well-being to our community. By helping those in need, we hope to ensure that everyone can experience a happy and healthy holiday filled with warmth and togetherness.

Camarillo, CA:Food Share of Ventura County

Food Share of Ventura County, a dedicated part of the nation’s largest network of nonprofits, has been brightening lives across our community by providing vital resources to those who need them most—particularly families with limited income, seniors, and people experiencing homelessness. Thanks to their tireless efforts, approximately 220,000 individuals are nourished each year with nutritious meals and compassionate support.

This holiday season, we are especially thankful to contribute to their remarkable mission. Our donation will help families in Ventura come together, enjoy comforting holiday meals, and celebrate the season with loved ones. Supporting this community is our privilege, and we hope this small gesture brings warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness to those facing challenges.

Langley Mill, UK:BRAKE

As we reflect during this holiday season, we want to extend our deep gratitude to BRAKE for their invaluable support to the family of our colleague who sadly passed away in a car accident last December. We have chosen this charity in recognition of their meaningful work and to help further their important mission. Since 1995, BRAKE has been committed to reducing road fatalities and serious injuries, fostering safer streets, and offering essential aid to those impacted by road incidents. Through their programs, BRAKE provides crucial guidance to accident survivors, delivers road safety lessons to schoolchildren, and leads awareness initiatives within UK communities. We are truly honored to contribute to an organization making such a profound difference.

Nijverdal, NL: Stichting Hulpfonds Hellendoorn

This holiday season, our Nijverdal office is honored to support Stichting Hulpfonds Hellendoorn, a local non-profit foundation established in 2006 to assist Hellendoorn residents facing financial hardship. This dedicated organization provides financial and material aid to individuals and families who are unable to access support through other channels. By partnering with them, we’re helping to extend a lifeline to those who need it most, ensuring that no one in our community is left without assistance.

The foundation is a true beacon of hope, working alongside local organizations to create a compassionate network of support. We are proud to spread holiday cheer by contributing to its mission and the meaningful work it does for our neighbors in need. As we celebrate the season, we’re reminded of the importance of community and the impact that local support can make in the lives of others.
